Why Amber light allowed in round-abouts ?
I thought amber blinking light means proceed if the road is clear, but give way to traqffic with Green light.
I have many times narrowly escaped getting hit by vehicles rushing at amber signal and not giving way to vehicles coming from the green signal.
The tenacity of a few drivers is endangering the lives of school children in the morning rush hours on a daily basis. Round about near Woqod petrol station is just waiting for a disaster to happen.
Why cant they stop this amber blinking signals which are meant for more civilised folks?

The real problem is having traffic lights in the round-about to begin with. A round-about should have no lights, just the normal rules work fine. Otherwise people just get confused. Answered on Thu, 31/05/2012 - 4:34pm

I completely agree with you, being new to the city I was shocked to see the light blinking for such a long time, and people rushing. Answered on Thu, 31/05/2012 - 7:59pm
