Recreational attractions in Qatar

Recreational attractions in Qatar

The weekend is here!!! Oh no!!!

Oh, how much I dread weekends in Doha!!! There is never ever anything to interesting do here!!!

What do you think could be introduced in Qatar that would be great recreational attractions for the residents here?

p.s.

Dont you dare say, "open more shopping malls"!!! Thats not even remotely recreational.

I would highly recommend 'Ski - Doha' something like in Mall of the Emirates - Dubai.

Best for Summer season.... this is something new in Arab World and creative.

Water Theme parks are gr8 for amusement. I would also add some recreational parks. Disneyland seems to entertaining as well.
Sorry, tired of cruising or sea beaches.
Amusement parks are also good for a weekend outing.

helo everyone.since we are all looking for things to do rather than sleeping, eating out, coffee or probably driving around, why dont we try rowing here in doha as in dragonboat racing.in asian contries like mine(Philppines)we enjoy a lot of outdoor sports like dragonboat racing. this is a team sport where a team is composed of 10 pairs of paddlers a drummer and a steersman, training is hard but the experience is one of a kind. http://www.youtube.c...

having a club or an association like this can build good sportsmanship and camaraderie among the members. not to mention the health benefits that we can get from the training excercises.s what do you say guys?
