Intrepretation please...

For a 6 months Visit visa that I just applied the MOI website says

Application Date : 2012-07-02
Expiry Date : 2012-10-02

Status : Ready for printing.

How should I interpret it ?

1. Does it mean the visa is only valid till the expiry date !!!

2. The respective visa holder can immigrate anytime before expiry date, however the stay would be as per application.

The EXPIRY DATE is the Last Date of travel. meaning your family will have to use / travel on this Visa before the Expiry Date. Once here you will get the required extention - max 6 months for a Visit.

you have to enter the country b4 the three month.check it very well it should be like
date issue--------- the day the visa granted.
Entry before--------- the day the visa will be expired if you dont come inside the Qatar.
Duration of residence----- usually 1 months for visit visa, but can be extended for more 5months for family visit visa and 2 more months for business visa.
