Travel Ban For Qatar

Travel Ban For Qatar

hi everyone,

I was reading all your comments and I was so amazed how many people left UAE because of different reasons. Now I know that I'm not alone. I worked in Dubai for an airline for 3 years. Got very good salary, benefits and everything. Sometime last 2000,I got involved in a case but I know for sure that it was just a set up. I was in line for promotion that time and I know that many of my colleagues are looking after the position that was being offered to me. To cut the story short, they had set me up and eventually ended up in jail for theft case. I served 3months in jail for that case and deportation has to follow. While I'm inside the jail, my salary was on hold so I was not able to pay monthly obligations such as my house rent, utilities and my credit cards and personal loan.
While I'm inside the jail, I found out that I have pending cases from 3 different banks. So, instead of being deported immediately after the theft case, I was transfered from one police station to another.. Wherever the bank filed the bounced check against you, you have to be sent to that particular police station, wait for your court hearing date and final judgement date and be sent back to the central jail (Al Awir).
Finally, I was able able to finish all my cases and was deported back to my home country. Before I left UAE, they had my eyes scanned and my finger prints were also taken. Dubai police also lost my passport so I have to exit UAE with the use of a travel document issued by my local consulate.
Now, I have a job offer in Doha, Qatar. I want to take this opportunity but I was worried because of my eye scan in the UAE due to theft case. I need to know if I can work in another GCC country or not at all.. Please help me. Feel free to ask me questions as well. I will try my best to give you an answer based on my own experience.

Thanks!

to be honest if i was in your shoes i would never come to this god forsaken middle east....

You can travel theres no problem so long as the case has been settled . however the best idea is to apply for a visa 1st normally your back ground is checked... if its clear go ahead and welcome to hell lmao
