Qatar Red Crescent Volunteers-SAAED
The willingness to SERVE and HELP on behalf of others is the main reason why I am one of a volunteer. I consider all activities a treasure. To be with different nationalities of different cultures, belief and religion is kinda excellent experienced but to HELP and SERVED with people with different nationalities of different cultures, belief and religion DESPITE OF A HECTIC SCHED is kinda " PRICELESS HAPPINESS".
Let me share some of the volunteers HAPPY FACES during our H1N1 AWARENESS CAMPAIGN.
"PROUD AND HAPPY TO BE ONE OF QRC VOLUNTEER and A MEMBER OF QLV."

Definition and History of Blogging and Blogosphere
Definition:
Blogging is a A frequent, chronological publication of personal thoughts and Web links
A blog is often a mixture of what is happening in a person's life and what is happening on the Web, a kind of hybrid diary/guide site, although there are as many unique types of blogs as there are people
Blogs are alternatively called web logs or weblogs. However, "blog" seems less likely to cause confusion, as "web log" can also mean a server's log files
History:
June 1993 -The National Center for Supercomputing Applications (NCSA) started a What’s New list of sites. Notably the site provided entries sorts by date and the What’s New links included commentary. This service was eventually taken over by Netscape in what became on of the more popular web sites of its time.

Doha Diary
Hello, fellow bloggers....
I arrived only a couple weeks ago, but have had much fun blogging about life here...you can read my blog (if you want) at http://romnotbuiltin...
Enjoy!

AM I CHEATED BY QTEL & MOZAIC
I STILL COULD'NT BELEIVE THIS HAS HAPPENED. 2 MONTHS BACK I TOOK A CALLER TUNE FROM MOZAIC AND AFTER SOME DAYS I CHANGED MY CALLER TUNE. BUT FUNNY THING IS QTEL WAS DEDUCTING 5 RIYAL PER MONTH FOR BOTH THE TUNE IT MEANS 10 RIYAL PER MONTH. I WAS PAYING FOR THE TUNE WHICH WAS NOT EVEN USED BY ME LATER I SOMEHOW DEACTIVATED MY EARLIER TUNE.
YOU KNOW THEY CHARGE 1 RIYAL PER MINUTE WHEN YOU CALL MOZAIC GUY NO MATTER HOW FAST YOU TRY YOU ALMOST LOOSE 20 RIYAL FOR GETTING 1 RINGTONE AND THE SAME AMOUNT YOU HAVE TO SPENT FOR DEACTIVATION. QTEL SHOULD BE VERY PROUD OF ITSELF FOR INVENTING INCREDIBLES WAYS TO GET THE PUBLIC MONEY. IF THERE WOULD HAVE BEEN ANY OTHER MOBILE NETWORK IN QATAR NO MATTER HOW BAD I WOULD NEVER USE QTEL BUT THE PROBLEM IS WE DONT HAVE CHOICE.

Just a Coincidence or it's like that (Just wondering)
I could write this as a BLOG entry but since it made me feel queasy in a way...I think I'll post it here: Got invited in a birthday gathering and most of the service crew were "kabayans". Since I arrived late due to traffic (imagine that! Traffic in Doha!!!), said hello to the other guests...kwento dito, kwento doon.

Fridays in Qatar
This picture was taken on 16th March 2007 around 1130am. We were on our way home when I spotted this lonely man waiting patiently for the bus to arrive (which I presumed to be around 12nn). Bravely he succumbed to this intense heat and strong sandstorms just so he could avail of this once a week break from work. Friday is considered to be the weekender in Qatar. Almost everybody is looking forward to window shop in Suoq, to stroll & picnic along Corniche West Bay Area, to take pictures in all round-abouts or in the plazas or places where beautiful flowers abound.

WHO you calling "COLORED"???
This was sent to me by a friend when i was still back in the Philippines. When this forum topic about Discrimination started, I thought of this and find myself smiling.
This was written by a black guy in Texas and is so funny. What a great sense of humor and creativity!!!). But since my color is somewhat lighter, I've changed the word from "Black" to "Brown" to make it more applicable to my own race.
When I born, I brown,
when I grow up, I brown,
when I go in sun, I brown,
when I cold, I brown,
when I scared, I brown,
when I sick, I brown,
and when I die, I still brown.
You white folks....
when you born, you pink,
when you grow up, you white,
when you go in sun, you red,
when you cold, you blue,
