Fishing and camping

Good day to all South Africans out there, I'm new to Doha, I travel to and from Dubai every two weeks, I always end up spending a weekend in Doha and find my not knowing what to do, not a big fan of going to the mall, can any one recommed a good fishing or camping spot and if possible if I could meet up with a group who enjoys camping and fishing.

I'm not sure if you ever got a response on this but I'm from SA and will be arriving in Doha in two weeks (staying indefinately for work) but would be very keen to do something like this.. please let me know if you hear anything :)
