Terrible!!! ...I was in a lousy mood.. But didnt want to tell my hubby the reason cos He'll laugh his head off.. Instead when he asked me why Im behaving moody I started telling him other reasons only to be cut short by my 3 yearold who proclaimed loudly "Why..Qatar living is not working no!!" Well yesterday was a very ...Well yesterday was a very bad day for us .. around 6:00pm our house owner tuned up and aid that we gotta find a new house and vacate the present one by the end of month. It seems the real estate guys lost the case with owner, and our owner got this villa from the real estate guys. We were upset where would we go in such a short notice ... it was then QL came in to my mind ... and when i found that QL isn't live ... dat was the second shock .. altogether the day turned out very bad .. glad that QL is back today and i checked up few classifieds and called them.
Latter at night the owner called up and said that we could take our time till 10th of august.
Friends pls help us in case u hear of a two bed, 2 bath, hall accommodation , could b and independent part of villa ,ground floor with rent up to 6K, call us at 5834204.
Back in India nobody can drive any one out of a rented house in such a short notice. The person whom we call our owner is scared to file a case against the real estate guys cos it might risk his job he says.
We are four families staying in this partitioned villa and all of us are upset, to add our neighbor just painted las week end his portion, one family just occupied last month. all of the families have small kids and relocating is very difficult in such a short scenario ...
C this is wut happens in Qatar ... well i narrated the above just for info and not planning to take any legal proceedings on it and get swirled up with that.

Well Rani... ...Have you looked on QL Accomodation, Gulf Times Accomo for a start... you do have till Aug 10th so dont start worrying all too much now...there are many many people trust me...if you are ok for a portion or part of a sharing villa...in that case there are quite a lot...Just hang in there...but dont hang yourself...LOL!

din find an accom yet ... and they have stuck a notice on our gate in ARABIC .. in a place like qatar where 70% is expat population who cant read arabic... Well forgetting dat , we asked a arabic guy to read it for us and its mentioned one week time frame from the notice .. and it happens to be 5th aug ....
with my family comprising of two small kids and whole lot of furnitures n belongings in a 3 bed, hall, kitchen portion where could we move in such a short notice ... is this fare by any means .... cant any voice b raised against this .. wut wud happen if we ignore the notice and continue staying until we find an accom .... its eight families into street now .... how bad .. i really had a gud opionion abt life in qatar until now .... hmmmmm

Now stop complaining and get out on the Supermarkets, shops, ask those small dept stores in the areas and check on QL, there are too many...and try and see if you can move into something for temporary solution before you keep finding the actual one...rather staying on the streets with a family and kids its always better to have a cover on your head...rather than sleeping looking at the Clear Skies...your children will get bored, there aint any stars in Qatar as well...!
