Scientology in Qatar
Er, hate to say it but most of the time I just ignore the ads on websites and QL as part of that. (Please all QL sponsors ignore the above and keep paying Qatari...)
However, I was just reading a forum topic here on QL and there was a flash ad for Scientology videos on YouTube at the bottom.
Don't get me wrong, I have no problem with anyones particular beliefs, even if the founder of the church was a Science Fiction writer who thinks that we all came from the destructive force of Xenu, operating Level Thetan 4 or similar.
Just was wondering though, Qatar has only recently got its first Christian church. Is there that much of a demand from oppressed scientologists here in Qatar that they need the illicit thrill of YouTube videos to fill it? Just wondering who is paying for the ads to be on QL?
Any Scientologists want to start a debate? Sorry, slow day at work....

A lot of the ads are googled ...A lot of the ads are googled generated, so they are neccesarily from Qatar. All the one's for the Gays mens gyms for example. Really don't think they'd be advertising gay mens' gyms here. :)
