Hi All, I have a Rexton ...Hi All,
I have a Rexton ,But the problem that the windshiled has been cracked of from a stone which hit the windshiled while driving off & i could not found spear part to change it .
So what can i do ?
Any one can help me?

Please call this number ...Please call this number 4460.6633 it a central ssangyong spare part center at industrial area. They open from 8am to 11am, 1pm to 4.30pm daily.
If your rexton is 2002 and above, they normally have the stock and can do the installation too.
The location, if you need I can give google maps coordinate later.

Tida is only 1.6 and ...Tida is only 1.6 and 1.8.
Galloper in Doha normally 3.0liter v6 and rexton is 3.2liters L6, we can pull 3 tidas at one time.

By the way..
For these 2 SUV, in auto gear, we need to change the ATF in every 25k kms, to ensure no problem to that transmission.
For the top end Rexton which have 2 reverse gears type, never use other ATF than original Ssangyong, it shall make your trans damage.
It will start with a delay symtom. (When the gear shifted, it took 2-5 second to engaged).
Total cost to repair the problematic of auto gear box at Ssangyong Al-Nael is around QR8,000 to QR15,000.
If outside garage to change all plates to the new ones and change new ATF oil, cost around QR4000 to QR6000.
With a warranty normally up to 1000kms only.
So, take care of your tranny well. It is not cheap to repair.
For the Galloper, the Best ATF is Mitsubishi SP2 or Diamond SP2 oils, but some of the owner using AC Delco ATF, ETC.. So far no damaged as I knew.
But it is better to use agency recommended ATF.
10 liters = QR160 - QR180.. It use 7 liters (V6 3.0 Auto Galloper Model 1998 to 2003)

This issue cannot be solved by greasing or wd40 from outside.
The torsion struts unit and damper need to be opened and oil it. The best one is to change new. But this work is really took time and costly.
Better just leave the noise there. No harm for safety.

Atf oil ONLY change, just 3.5 liters will do ...My friend recently change the atf without cleaning the filter and flush the atf cooler system, only 3.5 liters atf from mitsubishi sp3 qr125/5 liters used.
Method was very easy
1. Unplug the drain screw underneath transmission tank
2. Let it flow for 10-20 minutes
3. Screw it back with gasket
4. Pour in 3.5 liters mitsubishi sp3 atf
5. Start the engine
6. Engage reverse gear with brake pedal pulled
7. Let it run for 1 minute
8. P again and stop the engine
9. Check the atf dip stick and fill a bit if lack
10. Run for 50-100 kms, tomorrow morning check back the level and leak if have.

Aircon blower which sometime working and not working ...Intermitten on and off front ac blower normally caused by worn out carbon brush of it motor.
It only qr20 cost with qr50-80 labour.. 30-40 minutes work.

Running with front drive shaft taken off ...One of my friend galloper have a front drive shaft damage.
What he done about 3 years back was to removed both side of it.
Run only with rear differential only, now already run for almost 80,000 kms.. Nice and dundy!!!

Galloper ac selector switch which not working at certain speed ...This problem just can be okay within less than an hour if we replace the burnt resistors in the selector switch which cost include labour for less than qr100. Normally qr50 only.
Do not change the whole unit, it cost 680qr only for the set.

Airco is not gettiing cold enough! ...Hello All,
I have a big problem driving in the daytime because it seems the airco cannot cope with the heat of Doha. I just serviced the airco with Naeel but the air doesn't feel really cold. Do you have the same problem and or how can I get the cabin cold to the point that I am freezing.

Rexton before transmission delayed now it will not run ...I have a rexton 2002 model,before the problem is transmission delayed and now it will not run or shift.I want to know what to do or where can i go to change all the plates that is cheaper than el naeel?can you suggest me some garage that do this thing?thank you in advance..
