Basic Photography - Know your Camera Talk
Ok guys here we go. Next Friday (30/3/12) I am organising a meet to run people through the basics of their DSLR. Anyone who already knows the basics of shutter speed, aperture, and ISO are also welcome, but you will probably get bored. It's going to be early afternoon probably at 1pm in the Al Sadd area. PM me if you want to attend and I will give the final details by return PM later in the week. This is for Group Members only. Oh, you will need to bring your DSLR with you.

Would love to but am volunteering that day. ...With great regret I have to decline this Friday. I would really love to meet up with some more photo enthusiast here in Doha and have a good camera discussion. But I have been volunteering my time as a photographer to the Qatar Green Building Council and this weekend is the final two days of a major art project they are working on to be revealed at Earth hour on Saturday. So I really have to be there, as I've already made the commitment. Next time however I will do everything I can to be there, especially as the location is very near my place.
One more thing I would like to add. I'm looking for someone who can develop B&W film. Specifically 620 film (which if your unfamiliar with is actually 120 film on a slightly different spool). I have never done developing myself and would love to start, but I currently live in a 1 bedroom flat with my wife and two dogs. The camera that I'm using is an old Kodak Volenda 620 from around 1936. It doesn't take best pictures ever (technically speaking), but I really enjoy it and I find that the pictures have a really unique quality that you just can't get with a DSLR.

Missed 1st lesson ...sorry I've missed the lesson, really wanted to be there...u r mentioning repeating lesson one, waiting for any info about this. Also wanted to know if u know any good place to take a course in photography? Thank u
