HELP in my Family Visit Visa Extension
I'm on a family visit visa my brother in law is my sponsor, and we extended my visa for an extra 2 months, and it will expire in few more weeks. I just I want to ask if I can still extend it for another month, because they say that Qatar that has its new rule that visit visa can only be extended with only 2 more months, unlike before that it can be extended with an extra 5 months. Can please somebody help me regarding this. Your response will truly be appreciated.

try to renew it at Gharafa ...try to renew it at Gharafa immigration, if your are family visa as you said u can extend unto 6 months. if not you need to exit came back after 6 months.

Is it still applicable with ...Is it still applicable with the new rule? My brother just extended it for an extra 2 months because that's what the immigration told him, they said it's the new rule. This new qatar rule is really confusing us.

Actually the rule is like if ...Actually the rule is like if its direct sponsor relation it can be extended upto 6 Months, and if its wife's relative it can be extended only upto 3 Months.
Now in you case what you can do is for one more month extention, book a ticket for that date(Should not exceed 4Months) and go the the main immigration in Gharaffa and request for extension they will give you.
