Accident opposite Lulu HyperMarket

I witnessed an accident on the street going towards The Mall, a little before the new intersection at Lulu Hypermarket, D Ring Road. There was a smashed Land Cruiser by the roadside and an unconscious man lying on the street, at 8PM yesterday evening.
Did anyone see it happening or know what happened to the injured man?
Yesterday was an ugly day with fire killing so many innocent kids at Villagio and then this accident that made me really sick.

I did.. ...I passed through D Ring last night and did witness the accident. I saw a man lying on the street. From what I could see, he must have been unconscious as one of them was airing and comforting him.
I must say, Doha is filling with mad maniac drivers driving on the road with no road sense or traffic rules. Big Yutes (what they call as pick-ups) drive thinking that they have a Porsche..Karwa taxi drivers, on the other hand have no idea about the intersections nor lane rules. Many of them have forgotten about using the indicator lights in their cars!
I feel, the traffic authorities must do something to abate this before something catastrophic could happen yet again like what happened at the Villagio.
RIP to all the lil' ones..

It's too hot for the traffic ...It's too hot for the traffic policemen to be monitoring traffic....isn't it cooler to stay indoors during the heat of the day?.... ... have a heart man !!

Traffic here is a total mess. ...Traffic here is a total mess. I literally dont drive here unless i absolutely have to.
And not just karwa drivers or big pickups, every single driver on the road is guilty. Absolute chaos on the roads here. Last 2 weeks have been particularly bad, the deaths on salwa road, the guy who crashed into the police car itself, the accident near immigration the day before, the accident near lulu, its all just tragic and nothing is being done to stop it other than posting some "speed kills" signs.
Cant wait to go back to dubai soon as possible and get away from all this.
