We’ve been asked many times when the Canadian embassy, announced back in 2010, would open here in Qatar. Canadian consular services have, up until now, been taken care of in Kuwait.
The good news is, that changes today.
Canadian Foreign Affairs Minister John Baird arrived in Qatar yesterday on a short trip to the Gulf. One of his official tasks while here is to open Canada’s new embassy, which is located at the Tornado Tower.

embassy in Doha has nothing ...embassy in Doha has nothing to do with the immigration to Canada. If you already "passed" the interview, don't you know which office is processing your application?
Uday Shetty, embassy in Kuwait is only dealing with the canadian citizens.
garciajhune, you have to contact the office where you application has been processed. common sense!

I didn't see his(her?) ...I didn't see his(her?) nationality either. He /she is talking about immigration to canada, so obviously he/she isn't a canadian. And again, Kuwait deals only with canadian citizens in Qatar, not with the immigrants.
