Only ONE rule has to be ...Only ONE rule has to be applied: always adjust your driving to the circumstances so as not to harm yourself or other people. You don't need more than this, and accidents won't happen. Obviously people have adjustment problems.

Lincoln is correct.... ...Adaptation with road conditions can prevent a lot of accidents. People must learn to adjust speed according to your distance with the vehicle ahead and accidents can be prevented.

Luckily it doesn't look too ...Luckily it doesn't look too bad, but as LP says , use your noggin and adjust to the conditions. This means slowing down when visibility is low ..
