MOI Safety advisory on the wind

The Qatar Ministry of Interior has tweeted some safety advisories as a result of the heavy winds today.

Try to avoid going out :

As the weather condition is bad and visibility is low, it is better to avoid going out. Take care while you return home from work place.

Drive carefully due to low visibility :

In climate conditions affected by sand, chances of colliding from behind is high specially if the speed is high and visibility is low.

They are also taking some measures for safety on the roads. Some roads will be ">closed and diverted

In these conditions, police will be compelled to close some roads or to divert traffic. Please follow these instructions for your safety.

and safety patrols will be deployed on roads

Security patrols are deployed in all exits and entrances of external roads to control and direct traffic. Please follow their instructions.
