Arrived at wrong Air Port
Hello,
A colleague flying out from Dubai had the ticket for New
Delhi - boarded the plane for New Delhi..... but landed
at Mumbai !!
He was put on a wrong plane with the mistake of air line
offcials !!
If you are about to travel for summer vacation ....
Wish you safe journey & landing at intended air port !!

If you are sure ...mistake of Airline, he can sue the Airline and get full compensation.
How did he reached Delhi?, IS your friend an Illiterate, did not see at the boarding gate, Flight number and Sector

in his daily life too.
Lucky he was & given the free ride on the next available
flight from Mumbai to New Delhi !
Now the the mystery still remains ... which air line ???

Haha, I wouldn't mind that, ...Haha, I wouldn't mind that, unless I were pressed for time. They would compensate with a free ride to actual destination, and I'd have visited another city/country (technically).

Some of you might have ...Some of you might have remembered a similar incident, a lady from India had a round trip on Qatar Airways flight... because she had fallen asleep and couldn't manage to wake up at Doha airport.

He was living on bachelor status for a decade .... & as
in most cases .... he was nervous [ like that other lady
which 'Ghazal' has mentioned ] to meet his wife...
after good 11 months .

goof up ...This started at 'check in' counter, where 'they' issued
him a boarding pass with error which was never [ yes ]
detected by 'a n y o n e' till the passenger landed at
wrong / not intended destination.

to two different destinations at almost same time of
departure.
Check in staff & the passenger himself were indeed not
paying attention to what was happening, among others ...

Blame it on the guys in Dubai ...Why blame India for the usual scandalous treatment of expatriates when the whole situation happened in Dubai and could be rectified there itself. They say you can have all the money but never the brains

leojose, the news is ...leojose, the news is shocking, the father was supposed to attend his child's funeral in Dhaka and he was sent back to Dubai...
Sometimes authorities take such decisions, those cannot be understood.

Reply to Ghazalz ...Hi aunty,.. yes it is shocking. but on second thoughts, i think the manglore airport authorities have no option other than sending him back to dubai... i think they have no authority to transport him to dhaka(Bangladesh) coz its a diff country... unlike our guyz friend in this forum... which is from mumbai to delhi(same country)
