West Bashing no Longer in Fashion
In a shocking turn of events residents of Qatar give up west bashing as their national past time. Gulf-Vag Times interviewed them for QBS 1960s show. First up was Mohamed Angry of Pakistan, 'when anything went wrong in my day I used to blame the west and I was especially happy if I cold bash america. Whenever I saw an injustice in the world it was automatically the fault of the west. Many times I nearly stopped my application for Canadian status, I was so disgusted. Only last week I found a big hole on the road to Wakra and realised it must be a Zionist, western conspiracy to damaged our American made cars. How could they do this to us, just because we are Pakistani Arabs?'
Ziad el Lownuts of Syria was equally condemning, ' I nearly chocked on my McDonald's when I heard that America was accusing Nice Mr Assad of killing civilians. How could these hypocrite bastards critise the democratically elected leader of Syria. I should know at the last election I voted for him 36 times and even got an award. However these hypocrites are doing nothing to stop the killing that has reached my families city. How dare the Americans just sit there and watch. I know it's not really their fault, we all get the leaders we deserve'
As a wave of apathy sweeps Doha, some residents are even starting to say in public the west is not that bad and is even a reasonable nice place to live. Ashwin Boogle said, 'we only hate them so much as we want wha they have. I even came out to my family last night. In a big gathering I said my name is Ashwin Boogle and I actually like the west. Several members of my family and friends left saying they could not handle me coming out but my parents hugged me and said they loved me no matter what I was'
There is now renewed optimism that peace could break out in Qatar and Qatar Living between people of different cultures, but no one is counting their chickens or goats or pigs.
