Ezdan has Studio Apartments in Wakrah, not sure though about the Monthly Rent, but ya those Studios are fully furnished...

obviously your target is within Doha City but your budget will fit-in outside the city like in Wakra and al khoor.

Sorry but your budget is for Sharing accommodation you cant find your own living space for that budget.

for one bedroom apartment (studio type) for the last 4 years, but never managed to find any that fits into my budget (2500-3500 QR). When I check these ads here in QL and elsewhere and I cross by something like "Studio apartment" or " one totally independent apartment" and I call the number, they dont tell that it is a shared house unless you ask them, or else you will go there and then you will find a house or flat with shared entrance and different families living in. They just divide the house and then claim that they have independent apartments!:)

Even in Wakrah, you won't find what you are looking for. Maybe in Al Shamal or near the boarder with KSA..

I actually managed to find what I am looking for after years of searching, but all studios are fully occupied now. If you want, you can leave me your number or email and will let you know if any of these studio apartments are vacant, or else you can wait 14 more months and can get mine as I am leaving the country by then:)

Not sure you being a single girl is an issue. However, if thats not an issue and if budget is also not an issue check out Al Asmakh..there office is at the back of Chilis on C-ring Road...they generally have many options and good ones. You can even try Le Mirage Suites or Fraser Suites or Residence Suites at Intercon.

and once you go there, they will tell you: ops! 1 room apartments are gone, how about 2 bedroom apartment?

Additionally, I heard lots of complaints from tenants or people who lived there in Ezdan Wakra apartments. They are in the middle of the dessert and very cheap quality with sand storms and insects all over.

They also tell you that you can get 6 months free if you sign a contract for 2 yrs and that the rent is only xxx QR, but later on, you will figure out that the rent is not xxx, but xxxx because they already summed the 6 months free with the total 2 years rent. For example, if they tell you that the monthly rent is only 3500 QR for one bedroom apartment in Wakrah desert, then when it comes to give the cheques, they will ask you to give 18 cheques each equivalent to 4666 QR and one security cheque.

If you call Ezdan and check their apartments, let us know please what happened with you, so that we can know if sky Lily has valid and up to date correct information or not:)

I knew it:) This also can be part of an advertising campaign when renting few apartments so cheap, to let the word of mouth spread, and people regret its too late, when it was actually done in purpose to market their products:)

The last i checked with Ezdan wakrah almost all are occupied

As i said earlier, its really a good price for this kind of flat thats no would like to miss this chance. Ezdan compounds are actually ideal for families and those who want to live in a quite place.. You can walk around at night, there's gym and some neighboring compounds have pool that u can use if youre an ezdan resident. 24hrs security, cleaners cleaning everday all the public hallways of each villa.. Its close to hmc wakrah hospital and soon to have ezdan mall..

i know she is not looking for sharing apart ,i just offered her my idea.And i am not trying to convince her if she wants ok does not want i dont loose anything.And i will not try second time to convince her as you adviced.

Do you have any problems with bohol? As far as I know you originate from Tarsiers:) And mugwulina area? Seems like you are familiar with that area. For how long did you live there?:) or for how often have you been doing business in these pakistani houses?:)

Totally feel you on this.

When my sister moved back from the States we didn't have enough room for her, and we couldn't get a bigger family place at the time (because of our lease terms). So she desperately searched for something to rent on her own.

She settled on a cramped 2 bedroom place for 4k. It was more than she budgeted for and frankly more than the place is worth, imho. We even had to buy and install her shower because it was nothing more than a drain in the floor when she signed the contract. But it's the best and cheapest we could find with our time constraints. Everything for less was "bed space" or an impractical room in someone else's house rather than a real apartment.

Tip 1: Avoid places that don't already have air conditioner units installed. Installation for split units can create huge surprise costs upon delivery (depending on how much cable/hose they'll need to hook them up, and they can't tell you that until they inspect your building). We learned that the hard way.

Tip 2: All the cheap apartments from Ezdan and La Villa that we saw were gross. Like, cigarette-burned furniture and poop left in the toilet and open floor drains for washing machines gross. View them if you must, to be sure you're not missing a good deal, but I can almost guarantee you won't want to live in them. So many signs of neglect and with bad lease terms. (And this is coming from someone who is not afraid to scrub down a house with her own two hands.)

Tip 3: Have you tried Bin Omran, Al Mansoura, Muntazah, and the area between Family Food Center Airport Rd. & The Mall (I don't know what that neighborhood is called)?

I also appreciate your criticisms with regards to my budget and experience. We all have to learn somewhere and I will be upgrading once my probationary period end Insha'Allah! =)

I also appreciate your advice. I'm open to any and all areas. I haven't checked out Bin Omran yet but I've been to the other areas. I believe the last one is ElHilal because I just checked out a place not far from there.

Dont worry it took me a while but just keep going.As the others say you wont get anything in the city but you can get an appartment in a compund in Wakra thats where there are a lot of appartments.I have had to take a two bedroom appartment because within 24 hours of them opening the compound all the singles had gone .3250 amonth cheap.

Yes i moved last week .I have a 2 bedroom flat and its nice.I looked at the 1 bed flat 3 weeks ago but was to late to take one .They go very quickly .Go down and see the managers and put you name down for a flat. people move in and out every day changes in jobs that sort of thing.you might find that some one thats moving out and wants some one to take up the rent I bet you wont wait to long before something comes up.Try contacting homes2rent.com they are very good .They have appartments in Al wakra .

Check Azdan Towers in al Dafna Area near the tennis complex , 3500 per month for 1year contract .
Fully furnished studio + bathrom + free cleaning twic a week + free Internet electricity water + coverd Parking .
Family or singles it doesnt matter , also dont forget the nice view to the see and surrounding towers .

Alhamdulillah, I was able to find a tiny studio apartment in Al Azizya area (a block down from the Villagio!), right between Doha City and AlRayyan where I work. Now I gotta do some furniture shopping but aside from that, I have to say, I'm pleased. =)
