is old NBI with red ribbon still acceptable?
Hi..Im new to this forum and while browsing, I read that NBI is needed for job processing there in Qatar..I have an NBi with red ribbon but its dated 2007..will they accept it or should i get another one since i'm still here in the philippines..

Oh!my that was five years ...Oh!my that was five years ago. You must get a new one. And make sure you come early. Everybody is trying to get NBI clearance for local and international use.

yes you need to get a new ...yes you need to get a new one. NBI is good only for one year and its better you bring with you here red riboned one. as you arrived here, you still need to present it in our phil embassy here for another authentication at Qr.100.this is a requirement.then after, you still need to present it to Ministry of foreign affairs (of qatar govt.) its very expensive if you're already here and from here you'll get it from there.

don't you know that NBI ...Don't you know that NBI clearance has a validity of 1 year only???? It does not matter whether it is already in red ribbon or not... What matters most is its VALIDITY. Red ribbon is for authentication purposes only...
DFA Authenticated NBI clearance is one of the required documents to process your CEID clearance here in Qatar prior to issuing of work visa...
