Couple of Years back QL used ...Couple of Years back QL used to be a Informative Site, with lots of Discussions on Open Forum, but Currently QL has become a Site for Q'lers who like to Bash certain Nationality & more over i don't think QL is Addictive to be honest...

yes I have also noticed some ...yes I have also noticed some people who are constantly nagging others for their nationalities but I guess such people have nothing positive to contribute, so let them speak of their rubbish stuff, which is not going to buy them any respect from other members. every community has a mix of people and we have to live with that, Look for the positives and ignore the crap. I found this platform helpful specially for those who are new to doha, I mean new arrivals like me, lolz ;P

so I would call them ...so I would call them attention seekers. they don't do it to gain respect rather just to grab attention. and tell u what if u don't respond to their crap they would be left more frustrated, lolz that's my formula to deal with such people. but I know it is a difficult thing to do bcz it calls for our anger and tempt us to respond.

they play with human ...they play with human psychology, and when they post such things they knew it will catch the attention and people will be bound to respond as a result of anger and hurt. they do it for the sake of fun and try to criticize others, and in an attempt to hide their own weaknesses they exhibit an uneducated behavior. We can not excel in controlling our emotional drive for the reason that we are humans, in one way or another we get emotional at some point of time. that's why we can not stop ourselves to respond when someone try to become judgmental on such platform which is used by multiple nationals.

I am so sad that QL is not as ...I am so sad that QL is not as it was. I miss the old QL. Yet I still hang around in the hope that quality QLers will return or new ones will join.
I have much to be thankful to QL for. It kick started my social circle, and I have met and indeed retain some very good friends from it. I found my first accommodation through it, and learned so much to help me settle in here from it as well.
However the current trend is nationality bashing, hate, and religious rantings. I don't know what the solution is, and don't know what caused the decline, I just hope it will one day return to its former glory.

Yeah, but quite a number of QLers have different (or several) monikers ... don't quite know who's who anymore. I suppose some have had to change IDs ... cos got "Oopsed!" :p
