Girl Guides
Hi. I am a Girl Scout leader in the US. I am looking for information on Girl Guides of Qatar. What kind of uniforms do they wear. Do they have names for their different age levels? Also need information on foods, sweets, games, and clothing specific to Qatar. Our Girl Scout troop is doing a project on Qatar for World Thinking Day on Feb. 22, 2007 and we are not having much luck finding what we need. Thanks for any help you can give us.

I don't know about the Girl ...I don't know about the Girl Guides but I can look around for you. Also, you should contact the Qatar Embassy in Washington, DC. I'm sure they will send you a Marhaba (Welcome) book that has info on Qatar as well as some local "color" items. They may even have more info to send as well.
They eat a lot of dates here!
