I just expect people to ...I just expect people to change their habits in their daily life. As long as I see people not caring about nature in day to day activities, I don't see the usefulness of such lanterns and such conferences...

Alexa.. ...The argument from developing countries to the rich developed nations goes something like this..
1. You were major polluters when you were developing and expanding your industries. So why can't we do the same?
2. If you want us to spend money trying to be green, then subsidize us ..

Brit basically the developed ...Brit basically the developed countries are telling developing countries- stop developing.. With India and China against the proposed agreement, this can't go through.

See lots of people jump on ...See lots of people jump on the save the planet bandwagon without having the fainest idea of any of the science involved. (Sheep effect)
Indonesia is the second biggest CO2 polluter because of the amount of forest it is cutting down and the peat bogs that are being destroyed. (Peat bogs contain huge amounts of methane and CO2)
How many people know that water is the most potent greenhouse gas in the atmosphere? Not many I would guess.
Is climate change real? Yes, the average global temperature is rising.
Is it man made? Jury is still out of that one.
Should we do something? Well yes, polluting the environment is no good for anyone!
