PAUL Restaurant

My husband and I are regular customers at Paul's at Villagio. I love their cakes and hot dishes too.

The only thing that sucks their is their Lebanese Manager. He is too rude and snob.

That's why there was 1 time we just walked away and we don't eat there as much now because of that prick!

But the other servants are great! Keep up the good job and I'm looking forward on you changing your manager.

This restaurant cafe is so popular and not without merit .
The service was quick and nice at the beginning - later it was not as excellent .The decor is vintage style - rustic chairs arranged in casual manner.The cakes are tasty ,old fashioned calorie bombs my favourites ones:charlottte aux framboises ,Tarte à la rhubarbe .
When we asked for a kid's meal -first we were given some tasty bread and butter and tapenade .Then came the chicken sandwich which was described as small in the menu - but actually it was large enough for three kids . The ice cream was OK . Later they changed their kids menu and it became less gourmet more junk food style . Last time the kids had a pizza too large for two of them . The cappuccino was a real ,continental hot drink , not a bucket -but a reasonable cup " comme il faut ".
When sitting at this cafe I usually get the surrealistic feeling that I've just arrived in South France to visit my non-existing French auntie -and this fictive ambiance makes me feel so good ..
Avoid in rush hours !
