If you are craving authentic Italian ice cream then try 'La Dolche Vita' and excellent gelatarie. With a wide range of yummy ice creams. The pear and melon are particularly delicious. Portions are generous and it is run by an Italian.
Located behind the Souq Waqif art centre-if you enter the art centre and turn left down when you see the shop sign.
Perfect place to go to after dining at the Souq

Excellent Italian ice cream called "GELATO" with over
42 tastes yes unbelievable you have to see to believe
and what taste nothing comparable to any other ice cream
that is sold in Doha .Unfortunatly, very few people
knows about it as it is hidden in the ART GALLERY in Souq Waqif.But if you go in and ask anybody they will direct you to LADOLCEVITA GELATERIA (ice cream)
