Description:

Its a mix of Syrian and Lebanese Food, they have a wide variety of food, which includes the Appetizers like Hummos, Muttabel, Vine Leaves etc..

The mix sea food grill is a very good choice with the mix of Shrimp, Fish and cuttlefish.

The Mixed grill and other Lamb dishes are quite good as well.

Its a definite must try restaurant with moderate prices.

They also have very good sheesha and juices.

If ur into decor and atmosphere then this is the place you wanna go to. Splendid interiors. Nice balcony/veranda/sheesha. But if you wanna eat and enjoy it, then don't go. It takes forever to order anything and the menu is really fake. I ordered Hamour and a friend had sthg else with Hamour fingers. We got the same thing, only I got a few more fingers :))

Worst. Service. Ever.

The food here is ordinary, the service woeful and the prices inflated.

I wouldn't recommend this restaurant. It's not terrible, just ordinary.

Food was Good, greatly disappointed with the Service though. We asked for some thing they delivered some thing else, guess some of the waiters English is very poor, so only can only blame on this for the misunderstanding..Guess have to improve our Arabic before we go back again.

For it to server anything lebanese, I have yet to see one Lebanese whatever there, most employees are eastern asians "no disrespect but this is not a thai cooking place" and they dont understand the details of ordering for example a tabouli with this and that. Service is very slow, at one time we had food and had to wait for 15 minutes to order coffee and juice and then had to wait another 30 mins till those came on the table.

As for food, it really depends on your luck

One of the worst services here, probably the worst. Very rude staff, they will not approach you to get your order unless you go to them and tel you are ready to order even if they noticed you were seating there for more than 20mins and the food arrives like half an hour!

I went today to this resturant. it was very very dirty, we had to clean our table with wet napkins and there was lots of flies and there was a cat under our table !!!
It took 20 minutes to serve the appetizers and we could hardly call the service.
for the main dish, we ordered Grilled Hamour fish, but what we had is something else !!!!!! it is [Mod Removed] very bad taste, we just paid and left,

I am a regular at this restaurant, and from the point of view of seafood lovers, Al-Bandar is an excellent choice. The seafood cheif is from thailand, and he is really talented. I know that Al-Bandar's service is a bit slow, but that is due to the small kitchen they have.

Best dish:

  • Hammour saute with thai curry sauce! (it is WONDERFUL) and I recommend it for people who are interested in flaming spicy food!

  • Hammour saute with black pepper sauce. wonderful! (hands down)

  • SHAWARMA! nothing beats Bandar's shawarma!

  • A lot more!!

Apparently their Iftar costs 70 QR only, and they have more than 10 main courses!

you should go there for the shisha also. the shisha man is called Abu- Hassan, and he knows how to make your shisha perfect!

Pass on this lackluster restaurant.  Doha has so much great food to offer !

It is a sad thing when a Tajine is served luke warm and most likely assembled from pre-cooked ingredients.  We all felt a bit queasy after eating, but gratefully did not get very ill.  I don't suggest you try this restaurant.

The merguez in the couscous royal were tasteless and had a poor texture.  It is pleasant to visit the Souq Waqif - but one can do much better.
