We love this restaurant. Excellent food, very friendly staff. Good variety of food. Fairly standard menu, but the quality of the food is always excellent. If you are looking for great lebanese food - in relaxed surroundings this is the place. Always packed full of nearly all local patrons. |

The staff is selective when it comes to being friendly. The food was good but nothing that would justify the ridiculous prices (4 pieces of Sheesh tawouk 73 riyals?!). I call that a rip off. |

The food at layali is great, although i'd have to say awtar has the best lebanese food in qatar. Also the staff at layali, have to be by far the snobbiest bunch i have ever had the misfortune to interact with. They are only friendly to qataris, and lebanese people, and sometimes not even then. If u want good lebanese food awtar has great service, and amazing foood (also try their watermelon juice which is great!) |

Overpriced. Waiters are arrogant. Too much sheesha, unless you smoke (the place is congested with smoke). Food is ok, but not worth price. Decor is below average for a Middle Eastern restaurant - Chilis has better decor. |

LOVED the food .. the second time was weekend lunch with friends .. ordered lots of starters .. all were really good speccialy the chicken liver with Dibs El Riman . and ordered Kastlate which looked like ribs .. but really large and again generous portion for one man .. was grilled to perfection .. not very well done to dry nor raw .. just to perfection staff were nice with us |

I eat here for lunch at least 3 times a week, and it is the most consistently excellent Lebanese food in Doha. I've eaten at pretty much every restaurant here, and this is not to say that there are certain dishes at certain restaurants that aren't better - there are. But for overall consistently great food, there is no better choice than Layali in Doha (in my opinion). There are several reviews complaining about the staff, but I have had nothing but exceptional experiences with them. 3 meals a week, for the last 50+ weeks means 150+ meals or so... not one bad one! The fact that HH The Emir is known to stop by on occassion also speaks well of the establishment (especially the cleanliness of the kitchen). |

I posted a negative review on Layali in February after haveing dined there and been billed almost double what I had expected. I was contacted later by Layali Manager who conceded that a mistake did occur and amended the mistake very swiftly and politely. That's a thumbs up for customer care and I don't think you will find such good service anywhere else in Doha. Excellent! |
