yes I do remember going to this place when I was a lil kid...The food is pretty good...a little too oily...I am a big fan of their rotis and palak...some pretty decent kebabs too...didn't know they were still in business though...

I gave this restaurant many tries to understand why so many people like it. It just didn't do enough for me. It's just mediocre food over and over again that taste cheap. Spices are not uniquely blended as each dish requires and not cooked properly. One can taste the cardboard packaged tomato paste in many preparation. The core of Subcontinental cooking, Bread, is not done right. Nan's are dry, tough and strangely textured even when just out of oven and generously spread with clarified butter. It's like those cheap places back home that is frequented by offices staff on tight lunch budget. Want some more flavour? have some additional Ajinomoto. Maybe that's why it's popular in Doha, striking some nostalgia. We need to forgive Brit's though, they are having crappy thick curry back home. Qutba is better than those British currys anyday.
2 stars for service and price but you can't eat that can you?

One of the oldest restaurant in Doha. I'm a regular visitor of this restaurant. Staff are very helpful and almost all dishes are very tasty. Roghni Naan, Haleem, Brain Masala, Vegeterian Dishes are famous dishes.

I have only complaint of sweet dishes which are not upto the mark. They are very high in sugar and not well prepared. Alot can be done in sitting area both on ground & Family Floor.

Washroom area really needs alot of attention coz it really makes you think that your not in Qatar.

Car Parking is a big headache.
.
Overall, good & recommended restaurant.

Serves good biryani ... real biryani... not the white rice topped with curry.
And good Nihari too :) Tasted just like Sabris (for those who know :)

The best (till now) in true pakistani food.... yummy.."Nihari" is on the top
"chicken corn" soup very much fullfilling
fresh baked breads and mouth watering
"mix-fired rice"
... all in all ...
what ever you order you will be satisfied
and again yummilicious

Qutba restaurent is one of the best pakistani restaurent in Doha. Here the service is very good. Qutba staff is so very friendly with all their customer's who try to go for extra mile in customer serivce. The best dish of Qutba restaurent are 'Chap', 'Haleem', 'Biryani', 'Nihari'and 'Paya'.

Qutba restaurent is better then Shehzan hotel and Jamal restaurent.

Please give a try.

this is a good place for Pakistani food. I loved their nan bread and brain masala. But their Birani is horroble. It was cold, half cooked. So NO to rice and Yes to everything else

Generally its food is average in taste but, Daal gosht & a wide variety of sabzi gosht are just as home made dishes.
I prefer Qutba for take away...
in short : Qutba is a restaurant for all
